The Great Mosque of Cordoba - A journey through time. 

    • The forest of columns: As you enter, you will be amazed by the forest of columns supporting the horseshoe arches, creating a magical atmosphere full of light.

    • The Mihrab: This niche, facing Mecca, is the heart of the ancient mosque and an exquisite example of Islamic architecture.

    • The Orange Tree Courtyard: In the Muslim era, this was the main place for ablutions.

  • The Jewish Quarter of Cordoba: A labyrinth of history, it is an old quarter that preserves the layout of the Muslim city, with narrow, winding streets. 

  • Patios: The courtyards have their origins in Roman and Arab times, the combination of elements such as vegetation, water, tiles and architecture creates spaces full of charm and beauty.

  • Roman Bridge and Calahorra Tower: A legacy of history.

  • Royal Alcázar of Seville: An architectural jewel combining Mudejar, Gothic and Renaissance styles. Patio de las Doncellas: A rectangular courtyard surrounded by arches and columns, with a central fountain and a swimming pool. Salón de Embajadores: A large hall with an impressive wooden vault. Trocadero Gardens: A labyrinth of hedges and fountains that will transport you to another world.

CORDOBA - GRANADA

  • Mondragó Palace – Built in 1314, this palace showcases a blend of Moorish and Renaissance architecture, with a stunning courtyard as its centerpiece.

  • Almocabar Gate – The main entrance to the city during the Muslim period and the largest of Ronda’s historic gates

MALAGA - MADRID

  • The Alcazaba: (Al-Qasba which means citadel), one of the two Moorish fortresses of the city, is one of the best preserved Moorish fortress palaces in Spain. It was built in the 11th century by Badis, king of the Berber taifa of Granada. 

  • Gibralfaro Castle: It sits on a high hill overlooking the city and the port of Malaga. Built in 929 AD by Abd-al-Rahman III, Caliph of Córdoba.

  • Atarazanas Market: Incorporates the original Atarazanas Gate, the Moorish gate from the 14th century.  A Nasrid shipyard, built during the reign of Mohammed V.

  • Mosque of al-Andalus: One of the largest mosques in Europe.

Day 11:

MADRID - TOLEDO - MADRID

Morning:

- Hotel breakfast.

- Departure to Toledo.

  • City of the Three Cultures - Located in the heart of Spain. A melting pot of Christian, Muslim and Jewish civilizations for centuries, which is reflected in its unique cultural heritage.

- Visit:

  • Mosque of the Christ of Light (Bab Al Bardoum Mosque), is the only mosque of its style that remains of the nearly ten that originally existed in the city, the horseshoe arches are prolonged in a manner reminiscent of the Great Mosque of Cordoba.

  • Synagogue of El Tránsito - The Cathedral - The Alcázar and the Church of Santo Tomé which houses an artistic jewel: ‘The Burial of the Count of Orgaz’ by El Greco.

- Lunch.

- Return to Madrid.

Day 12:

MADRID 

Morning:

- Breakfast at the hotel.

- Visit:

  • Panoramic Tour of Madrid, including Visit to the Santiago Bernabeu Stadium. Home of one of the most important teams in the world, Real Madrid F.C.

  • Mosque M-30. The biggest in Europe. Its architecture is a marvel, inspired by the Alhambra in Granada. It has a large prayer hall, a central courtyard and a minaret that rises majestically over the city.

- Lunch at the Mosque's restaurant.

- Free to stroll around the city and do some shopping. 

- Dinner.

- Overnight in Madrid.

MADRID - DEPARTURE
