Day 1:

Madrid – The Origins of the Middle March


Morning: Arrival at Madrid-Barajas Airport. Private transfer to the hotel and check-in.
Afternoon: Panoramic tour through "Austrias" Madrid. Although Madrid is the capital today, we will rediscover its origins as "Mayrit," the fortress founded by Emir Muhammad I to protect Toledo.

A stroll through Plaza Mayor and the Royal Palace area.
Evening: Welcome dinner featuring a curated Halal menu.
Overnight: Madrid.

Day 2:

Toledo and the Stone Giant

(Heading to the Frontier)


Morning (Toledo): Departure for Toledo. Guided tour of the ancient capital of the "Middle March." We will explore its walls, the Mosque of Cristo de la Luz, and its narrow streets that breathe the legacy of the Three Cultures.

We will also enjoy the iconic views from the Mirador del Valle.
Afternoon (Heading South): We continue our journey southward. A highlight stop at the Calatrava la Nueva Castle (Ciudad Real). We will ascend to this imposing fortress set atop a rocky hill—a massive example of military architecture that served as the great defensive wall before entering Andalusi domains.
Evening: Arrival in Ciudad Real.

Dinner and rest.
Overnight: Ciudad Real.

Day 3:

The Jewel of the Caliphate and Arrival in Córdoba
 

Morning (Baños de la Encina): After crossing the natural pass of Despeñaperros, we enter Andalusia. Visit to the Bury al-Hamma Castle in Baños de la Encina.

A detailed exploration of its tabiya walls (a mixture of earth and lime) that have stood intact since the 10th century.

A true journey back in time to the height of the Umayyad Caliphate.
Afternoon: We continue towards Córdoba. Hotel check-in followed by a first stroll through the historic quarter to experience the atmosphere of what was once the most advanced city in Europe.
Overnight: Córdoba.

Córdoba – The Heart of the Caliphate


Morning: Guided visit to the Great Mosque-Cathedral of Córdoba, one of the world’s masterpieces of Islamic architecture. We will walk through its infinite forest of columns and admire the stunning Mihrab with its Byzantine mosaics. Following this, a stroll through the ancient Jewish Quarter and its history-filled streets.
Afternoon: Transfer to the outskirts to visit the palatial city of Medina Azahara, the "Shining City." Built by Caliph Abd al-Rahman III, this fortified archaeological jewel showcases the sophistication and power of Al-Andalus at its zenith.
Evening: Free time to enjoy local Halal gastronomy or rest.
Overnight: Córdoba.

Day 5:

Almodóvar – The Sentinel of the Guadalquivir


Morning: Departure from Córdoba towards Almodóvar del Río Castle. This spectacular fortress of Andalusi origin stands atop a hill overlooking the river.

We will explore its towers and battlements, enjoying the finest panoramic views of the route before continuing toward the Hispalense capital.
Afternoon: Arrival in Seville. Hotel check-in followed by a traditional horse-drawn carriage ride through María Luisa Park and Plaza de España to welcome the evening in the city of the Guadalquivir.
Evening: Dinner in the historic center with selected Halal options.
Overnight: Seville.

Seville – The Splendor of Almohad Art


Morning: Private visit to the Real Alcázar, the oldest royal palace still in use in Europe and a masterpiece of Mudejar and Almohad art. Later, we will walk to the Giralda, the former minaret of the Great Mosque and the city’s undeniable symbol, to admire its architectural majesty.
Afternoon: Free time to explore the Santa Cruz Quarter (the ancient Jewish quarter) or for shopping in the downtown commercial area. Optional visit to the Tower of Gold (Torre del Oro) by the river.
Overnight: Seville.

Day 7:

Day 7: The Key to the Nasrid Kingdom


Morning: Departure from Seville heading east. Our strategic stop will be the Fortaleza de la Mota in Alcalá la Real. This impressive walled city was the "key" to the frontier; the last great bastion travelers had to cross before entering Nasrid territory. We will explore its citadel and its network of defensive tunnels.
Afternoon: Continuation towards Granada. Upon arrival, we will take a stroll through the Albaicín, the ancient Arab quarter with winding streets, to enjoy the sunset facing the Alhambra from the San Nicolás viewpoint.
Evening: Dinner at a restaurant with views of the illuminated fortress.
Overnight: Granada.

Day 8:

Day 8: Granada – The Last Refuge of Paradise


Morning: Full private visit to The Alhambra and the Generalife Gardens. We will explore the Nasrid Palaces, the Court of the Lions, and the Alcazaba (the fortress's military zone).

We will discover the sophistication of water and architecture that turned this complex into "paradise on earth."
Afternoon: Free time to visit the Alcaicería (the ancient silk market) for traditional Granadan crafts, or enjoy a traditional Arab bath (Hammam) to relax after the visit.
Evening: Farewell dinner in Granada featuring Nasrid culinary specialties.
Overnight: Granada.

Day 9:

Day 9: Málaga – The Mediterranean Bastion


Morning: Departure towards the coast. Upon arrival, we will visit the Alcazaba of Málaga, one of the most beautiful palace-fortresses from the Taifa period. We will walk through its double walls and elevated gardens, which offer spectacular views of the port and the sea, recalling its role as the primary commercial gateway of Al-Andalus.
Afternoon: Free time to enjoy Muelle Uno (the pier) or stroll down the elegant Larios Street. 
The perfect moment for last-minute shopping or simply relaxing by the Mediterranean.
Evening: Final tour dinner in a coastal setting with high-quality Halal options.
Overnight: Málaga.

Day 10: Farewell and Return Journey


Morning: Breakfast at the hotel. Free time for final photos or last-minute shopping in Málaga's city center. At the coordinated time, private transfer to Málaga International Airport (AGP) for your departure flight.
